See What's BIG
BIG is open to new and exciting activities according to the
needs and desires of the group.  Here are some annual
activities that BIG does:

JANUARY:
No Apologies - This is an ecumenical abstinence program
that offers two different nights of dynamic speakers about
decision making, sexual awareness and having a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out their website.

FEBRUARY:
Weather permitting, BIG attends a "different" style of
service each year.  This is a way to see what is both new
and different in the world of worship as well as a time to
appreciate our style of worship here at Westminster.

MAY:
Spomer Car Show - BIG has been hosting a concession
stand at the Spomer Car Show in Worthington for 5 years
now.  It is a great event to work at as the weather is usually
nice, the vintage/classic cars are gorgeous and the hot dogs
we serve are out of this world good!

SUMMER MONTHS:
BIG always hosts one if not two Mission Trips for its youth.
Mission Trips are one of the few BIG events that sometimes
get separated by age according to the activities that will be
involved.  Mission Trips are scheduled with the student's
summer activities in mind so that maximum participation by
youth can be obtained.

DECEMBER:
Every year the Nobles County Historical Society hosts
Christmas at Pioneer Village in Worthington.  BIG has been
very fortunate through the years to be able to offer a
concession stand at this community event.  BIG enjoys
catching up with all of our faithful patrons through the years.
This is a fun fund raiser for our youth group and provides a
time of fellowship as we undergo preparation, serving the
public, and wrap-up and clean-up.
