We welcome parents to bring children and to teach them how to worship. Contact church
office for ideas to assist you. We encourage parents’ role as coaches enabling their children
to worship God. This goes beyond managing to keep them quiet, to allow them to joyfully lift
their praise to Jesus. Their worship includes their participation along with others, as well as
singing in the children’s choir and playing in the Bell Choir.
Smile at children and their parents. A smile goes a long way to support their effort. A frown or
a scowl can discourage for a lifetime.
When children are crying or noisy, parents are asked to take them from the sanctuary out of
respect for others. Kid-friendly ushers may be able to sit with your remaining children in the
sanctuary.
Busy Bags with activities for children are hanging on a tree in the entry into the sanctuary.
Children three year old through fifth grade are invited to come forward for a Children’s Message.
Nursery is available during worship for
children up to age of four. It is located at
the bottom of the stairs at the rear of the
sanctuary. Here your child will learn that
church is a safe place where they grow in
their trust of God. Please ask ushers or
greeters for directions and assistance.
The worship service is broadcast live into
the nursery.
Cry Room is available downstairs in the
Artie Cale Room. Ushers will direct you to
this comfortable room where you can calm
your child.
