Music has always been an integral part of the worship of God, and we are
blessed with an excellent music ministry under the leadership of Linda Lang as
Adult Choir, Youth Choir and Band Director; Nancy Hofstee, Linda Lang, and
Darlene Rautenkranz as Part-time Organists; and Darlene Rautenkranz as
Rainbow Bells Choir Director. Our music program includes opportunities for all
ages and is open for all who wish to offer God their music. These programs
include:

Youth Choir / Praise Band ("Little Levites")
Intergenerational Rainbow Bell Choir

This choir of adults and older youth sings anthems, introits, and responses, and
leads congregational singing on the first three Sundays of the month from
September through May. They may sing at special services such as Ash
Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve
(sometimes in conjunction with other area church choirs). Occasionally they join
together with the bell choir and youth choir for intergenerational praise of God.
This choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on
Sunday morning from 9:30 to 9:55 a.m.

People from age 8 on up participate in this choir by ringing color coded bells
while accompanied by a CD. Director Darlene Rautenkranz rehearses with the
choir fifteen minutes before worship on the fourth Sunday when they offer the Introit.
