I was hired in August of 2005 to direct the Westminster Adult Choir. Having
grown up in Worthington, I have moved back home to be near my family. My
parents are Mike and Olive Lang.
After attended Worthington Junior College and Concordia College in
Moorhead, MN, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from
Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Having taken graduate courses from
Arizona State University, Tempe, I am working toward a master’s degree in
vocal pedagogy. I am listed in Who’s Who Among Women, and have received
special recognition in a National Talent Competition in New York.
My experience in various churches has included directing adult, children, and
bell choirs, as well as other facts of the musical life of a church. Besides
directing music, I also have accompanied and performed in theaters and
schools. I enjoy composing music and lyrics of all styles.
