GENE FOTH
COORDINATOR OF MANNA FOOD PANTRY, INC.
HOME
After retiring from the insurance business,
I wanted to use my talents to give back to
the Lord and the community.  I have
always been a promoter with
organizational skills that I felt could be
used in some way.  My wife and I were
looking at various avenues of service with
Wycliffe Bible Translators but when the
board hired me, we knew this is where
the Lord would want us to work, in our
home town!

There are many hungry families in Nobles
Co. The pantry can serve their physical
needs.  But we also have a prayer box
installed so that we can address the
spiritual needs of families as well.  God
has blessed this ministry in a far better
way than I would have ever imagined.  We
operate with a volunteer staff of
approximately 12 to 14 people each
week.

I became a Christian after college
graduation. I married a wonderful
Christian woman whom I met in our
church college.  She has been a
tremendous asset to my Christian life.
Together we love to serve where we can.
She still works part time in the insurance
office.  We have three grown children,
Lori Knudsen is in the nursing profession
at Wichita KS.  He husband is a
professor, teaching music in a community college and plays piano for the Wichita
Symphony Orchestra.  Our son Michael manages a large horse ranch at Santa
Rosa, NM.  He and his wife are also lay ministers and conduct Bible studies at the
local jail and federal prison.  Our youngest daughter lives here in Worthington and
works with her husband Phill in the local youth ministry.  They have two children
enrolled in the local school.
