Adult Membership Inquiry Class We know that you will find Westminster Presbyterian Church a friendly and exciting place to worship and serve Christ. We are always eager to have others join with us and we encourage you to become a part of our family. In order to examine how Westminster Presbyterian Church can assist you in developing your faith and ministry, we offer Inquiry Classes throughout the year. Please contact the church office or check the website calendar to see when the next series of classes are scheduled. These classes provide:
a time to get acquainted; understand something of the unique characteristics of this congregation, clarify your expectations; visit with several members about church activities and organizations
a time to explore Presbyterian beliefs and practices to reflect on your faith journey and relationship with Christ; discuss elements of our beliefs about which you have concerns or questions.
a time to consider your next steps in a growing faith, including your daily ministry; reflect on Ephesians 4 with Elders; be received into membership by official action of Elders.
We hope these experiences will give you opportunity to explore your place in the Body of Christ here. We have five basic expectations of members: 1. Proclaiming Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, 2. Worshiping God regularly with the congregation, 3. Offering financial support for God’s work, 4. Building friendship where you can give and receive Christian love, 5. Engaging in some form of daily ministry.
