This is the theme at Westminster Presbyterian Church from Ash
Wednesday to Easter. The 10:00 Sunday Worship experiences are
being designed to help people put on the blessings Jesus proclaims in
his “beatitudes” (Matthew 5:1-12). Listed below are those blessings
and the Sunday on which they will be the focus of worship.
“Mercy” for the “Merciful” – 2/7
“Comfort” for the “Mourning” – 2/18
“Satisfaction” for those who are ‘Hungering and Thirsting for
Righteousness” – 2/21
“Seeing God” for the “Pure in Heart” – 3/14
“Children of God” for the “Peacemakers” – 3/21
“Inheriting the Earth” for the “Meek” and “The Kingdom
of Heaven” for the "Persecuted” – 3/28

wearing a crown of thorns to a crown of gold.
